Jet 9×20 Lathe
My second had Jet 9×20 lathe. Sporting a 5″ 3 jaw scroll chuck from Little Machine Shop #2337 mounted to highly machined #1919 back plate from them as well. LMS did not offer a 5″ adapter with the 1 1/2-8 thread so I had to turn down the 6″ and put all the holes in to hold the chuck. That was quite and adventure for a neophyte machinist. Also should be noted the shop made larger cross slide hand wheel. This makes a very large difference in the usability of this lathe.

Upgraded gib adjusting screws and 4 bolt compound clamp ala Steve Bedair.
Poor man’s thread depth DRO. It’s difficult to see, but I bolted a piece of CRS to the top of the carriage for the import magnetic base to stick to.
